I am a tutor of Maths and chemistry. I like these subjects because you are required to think out of the box. As a graduate of Chemical Engineering, i have tutored and mentored students in Maths and chemistry for over seven years. I started my teaching career as a primary school teacher where i had the privilege to interact with kids between the age of 8-12years. I taught basic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division using corks,bottle caps and stones as instructional materials. I also taught measuration making use of plane shapes made from cardboard paper as instructional materials. That actually made the study of perimeter and area quite obvious and easy to remember. As a high school Maths teacher, I taught topics such as measuration of solid shapes making use of models. Construction of angles, circumcircle, inscribed circle, triangles and quadilaterial making use of sketch pad, and mathematical sets. I taught probability using cards and dice. Statistics, algebra and trigonometry are also some of the topics i had taught to the satisfaction of my students in high school As a chemistry teacher, i had an opportunity to stand as a co - author in two different Chemical Engineering journals published and globally recognised. I taught physical and organic chemistry with hands on practicals.
