My name is Ingalisa Samaroo, and I am from Deep South, Trinidad. Currently I am a year 3 B.ed student at UWI – ROYTEC. As an aspiring educator my philosophy is to always provide an environmentally friendly place for my students.
With my main goal to positively make a difference in the lives of children and provide each child with a great learning experience, even if it is challenging at times.
I truly believe that all children have the capability to learn, with a little time, patience and positive reinforcement.
As an important learning practice, I believe that students should be able to build relationships and be able to express themselves in a safe space. Learning should be fun, stimulating, interactive, meaningful and inspiring for both the student and the teacher.
I believe that the education system should be structured to suite every child, because every child learns differently, and no child should be left behind.
